Alissa Anderson, DVM
Dr. Alissa was born and raised in Texas. She attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas for her undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Oklahoma State University. Since graduation Alissa has spent time practicing large and small animal medicine in North Texas.
Dr. Alissa’s husband grew up in Colorado and they recently returned here to be closer to his family. They have a menagerie of three dogs: an Australian shepherd named Stetson, a pit bull named Bonnie, a terrier named Lucy Lu, as well as a cat, Crush, and a miniature pot-bellied pig named Hamlet. In her free time Dr. Alissa enjoys spending time with her family, taking the dogs to the park, camping, and scrapbooking.
She feels fortunate to be a part of the Caring Pathways team and to be a part of honoring the human animal bond that we share with our beloved pets. Dr. Alissa strongly believes that when possible, saying goodbye in the comfort of one’s home provides the most peaceful passing for your pet.
