Kristen Neisler, DVM

Dr. Kristen Neisler has worked in the veterinary field since her first job in high school working as an assistant. After working for several years as a veterinary technician, Dr. Kristen studied Biology at the University of Utah, then went on to earn her DVM from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She became certified in veterinary acupuncture the same year. She has practiced small animal medicine in Denver, Longmont, and Lyons before joining the Caring Pathways team.

Dr. Kristen is passionate about providing end-of-life care and peaceful euthanasia for our ailing companions. She sees euthanasia as a final gift that a family can give to a loyal companion: providing relief and preserving dignity with an expedient and painless death.  “These visits are an intimate moment between a pet and their family that I have the honor and privilege to be a part of.  I strive to provide each family with utmost compassion on what is, undoubtedly, their most difficult day as that pet’s owner.”

Dr. Kristen lives in Loveland with her husband, children, and pets (Scotty the dog, Norma the Macaw, and Guinea pigs: Beauty and Winnie). She misses having cats and hopes to adopt another pair in due time. She enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, camping, hiking, and riding bikes. She also loves vintage things, ugly colors, good music, and offbeat films. She collects albums across many genres on vinyl and enjoys attending live music.
