We knew when our sweet charcoal Lab wasn’t able to beat cancer that we wanted him to have a peaceful transition at home. Our Oncologist recommended Caring Pathways and I’m extremely thankful for this connection.
When I called Monday morning, the lady who helped answer my initial questions was calm and caring during the entire call. The lady who helped schedule our appointment, was equally empathetic.
The next evening, 9/19, was our appointment. Our immediate family spent the day enjoying quality Ruger time. I received the text notification that Dr. Emily Plock was on her way. At this point I got anxious and more emotional.
Dr. Emily was the perfect person to meet our family and other two Aussies. She was patient with us while explaining the process and showing affection to all 3 dogs. Although my family is devastated that our sweet Ruger didn’t live a longer life, we are forever grateful for Dr. Emily’s compassion.
