After two years in remission, the lymphoma returned. Our dear Nola did all she could to stay with us, but when it became clear she was struggling, we knew it was time to bring her peace. The unbearable decision was made, but having Caring Pathways assist us in this most difficult moment brought some comfort.
Having gone through this just seven months earlier with Nola’s brother, Finn, we had already experienced how wonderfully the folks at Caring Pathways took care of us in our time of need.
On the day Dr. Kerry arrived, we were already grieving but doing our best to keep it together for our girl. Dr. Kerry was calm and gentle, putting us all at ease. She brought soft, warm blankets for Nola and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. Our sweetheart passed in the comfort of her home, surrounded by our love.
Thank you to everyone at Caring Pathways for your kindness and professionalism. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Kerry for being there to help us through— you are a very special person.
