As I looked at my dog Charlie Brown’s frosted face, and as he was about to turn 15, I knew that dreadful day was approaching. I had many sleepless nights worrying about how I was going to say goodbye to my best friend and loyal companion. I wanted him to have a stress-free, loving, and peaceful goodbye that he so very much deserved. Praise God, I found Caring Pathways and Dr. Kaity Sisk.
As heartbreaking as saying goodbye to Charlie was, the whole experience was beautiful. Dr. Sisk sat with Charlie and me for almost 2 hours, getting to know both of us and making the experience as peaceful as possible. I cannot thank you enough for the care and attention you gave during and after saying goodbye.
