Miso came to me as a kitten. I had another cat who was a little older. I loved Miso but always felt guilty and disloyal to the other cat when I loved Miso. I always thought the other cat came first and should have more love.
When Miso was 8 years old she got very sick and almost died. When that happened I realized how much I loved her and would be devastated if she died. She lived another two and a half years thanks to Dr. Lori and Caring Pathways Palliative Care. I made sure she knew I loved her every minute of those years.
I will always be thankful to Miso for showing me a really important lesson about love.
