Martha was a great dog. We found her in a parking lot when we lived in Las Vegas. She was very feisty from the beginning. I always called her a gremlin because after she got wet she would turn into a different dog and run around like crazy. She loved my husband more than anything in the world. They were best friends. She followed him everywhere. Despite her small size, she always bossed around our 100 pound lab/pitbull mix and showed him who was boss. We called her by so many names over the years, Martha, Shmeesh, Shmertle, Meem, and Mimi. Mimi is what our 2-year-old daughter called her. We miss her so much but are glad that she is at peace and look forward to seeing her on the other side.
