18 days before her 18th birthday… Lexie left us.
Lexie. Lex. Alexis. Alexis Noel. Baby Girl. Boobie. My Bestest Baby. My Best Friend. My heart is shattered. There are not enough words to adequately describe what you mean to me and everything I will miss about you. There are not enough stories or photos that I can share to show the world what a bond we had and how amazingly special you were. When I adopted you, when I was just 17 years old, I had no idea what was in store for us! Thank you for making me your person and loving me for nearly 18 years. Mommy & Daddy will miss your signature sass, your cuddles (even if they sometimes ended with that sass!) and how you slept right in between us to protect us at night, amongst hundreds of other things. Bedtime won’t be the same without you.
I love you Baby Girl. I’m going to miss you so much.
