In Loving Memory of Fly Dairy Queen

March 28, 2019 – April 28, 2025

Our Fierce, Joyful, and Beloved Girl

Dairy Queen came to us in June 2022, shortly after retiring from her racing career at Wheeling. From the very beginning, she made it clear she wasn’t just another Greyhound. She had a spark that lit up every room, a mischievous wit, and a depth of love that changed our lives forever.

Though her time with us was far too short, every day was filled with a bond so deep it defied words. Dairy lived with refractory epilepsy, and while the illness and the medications placed heavy burdens on her small frame, they never dimmed her spirit. She met the world with courage, sass, and sweetness. She loved without hesitation, trusted with her whole heart, and gave joy even in the hardest moments.

Our home feels quieter now, but our hearts are full of her. We will always miss her presence—her cuddles, her voice, the way she greeted us with such purpose and pride. She was brave beyond measure, and letting her go was the most painful, most loving decision we could make.

We are profoundly grateful to Dr. Stacee Kim of Caring Pathways, who helped us give Dairy the peaceful, loving farewell she deserved. Because of her compassion, she passed at home, surrounded by those who adored her, held gently and with dignity. Dr. Stacee helped carry her across the Bridge with grace and care.

Now, we picture her running—steady, strong, and free—reunited with the pack that went before her. Until we meet again, she remains forever in our hearts.

With love and gratitude,
The Ringley pack
