| I never knew what unconditional love felt like until I met Dixie. For all of Dixie’s life it was just her and I. Living our best lives. Soul sisters if you will. Dixie had my heart, and I had hers. Dixie developed severe dementia a few years ago, and her health took a sad decline. Letting Dixie go was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I never imagined I would need to call a place like Caring Pathways, I’m so fortunate that they were there for us. Dr. Caroline was my angel that day. She was so patient, kind and loving to us.
