We said good-by to our quiet and solitary Sophie on Christmas day. Our hearts are heavy with loss. While she almost never meowed, at night we often heard her talking to her toy creatures. Once when I was sick and crying, she put her face to my ear and purred until I felt better. We are grateful to Caring Pathways for helping her go peacefully. We miss her unique presence.
