I said goodbye to my faithful companion and best friend of almost 15 years.
Today was your last day on earth
You took your last walk and sniffed your final bush.
There are no more holes to dig.
You met your final new friend today.
You will no longer roll in the grass and sit in the sun enjoying its warm rays, this was your favorite thing to do.
You ate your last meal and took your final treats.
You are probably happy that you had you last bath or that you no longer have to go in the car for a ride. You were never a fan of riding in the car.
Mamma cat will no longer be able lay next to you napping.
She will miss cuddling with you.
I petted your back and gave and a final belly rub.
I snapped a picture of you today, a memory just for me.
You do not have to worry about thunderstorms and fireworks scaring you ever again.
And today you wagged your tail at me for the final time as I said with a heavy heart good bye my dear friend and that you were loved you were so very loved.
You lived a wonderful life and will be sorely missed.
If tears could bring you back, you would be here right now.
You are now free to run and jump and play like you did as a puppy.
You are free to roll in the clouds.
You are free to eat all the heavenly treats you can find.
You are free to watch over us.
You are free to wait for me with your siblings at the rainbow bridge.
Today is the first day your spirit is free
