It’s been a week to the day that we said goodbye…
A spontaneous trip to the pet store brought such an amazing gift (you) into our lives. From the very first night, you showed us love and your intelligence. I set you next to my bed in your crate but you’ve always just wanted to be next to us. From your kisses to your night-time cuddles, you always showed us love. The way you would look out the window as we drove away in the mornings, to the jumping, spinning, excitement you showed when we arrived back home, showed us the love you had for us.
We would let you pick out sweaters to wear when it was cold and helped us by practically stepping into them yourself. When it was grooming time, you got so excited and waited by the front door for the mobile groomer.
The love you brought to our lives (mom, dad, and me) will never be forgotten and I am so very thankful that we were able to be there to comfort you during your passing.
I know you felt the love we had for you during these 15 years, even if sometimes we couldn’t always be there. Your mom and I love you so much. I will always be your sister and you will always be my “Jadey Baby”. Always together in our hearts 💕
