| For Chancy: It’s with a very heavy heart that we had to say our final goodbye’s yesterday to the best dog, the best friend we could have ever imagined being in our lives. Chancy has been with me through all of my life’s major milestones from my late 20’s into my early 40’s. From graduating college to getting married to the love of my life. Chancy, may you find peace now and find comfort in playing with all the dogs that you were a mom to. Say hello to Blanca, Wiley, Eric, Santana, and Chloe for us. One day, we will meet again on the rainbow bridge and be able to hold you in our arms and comfort you with our love. You are at peace now Chancy and we will never forget you my sweet angel. Tribute to a best friend: Sunlight streams through the window pane unto a spot on the floor…. then I remember, it’s where you used to lie, but now you are no more. Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound…. then I remember, It’s where your paws would joyously abound. A voice is heard along the road, and up beyond the hill, then I remember it can’t be yours…. your golden voice is still. But I’ll take that vacant spot of floor and empty muted hall and lay them with the absent voice and unused dish along the wall. I’ll wrap these treasured memorials in a blanket of my love and keep them for my best friend until we meet above. |
