First I want to thank Dr. Kary Walters. She made Buster’s transition easier to bear. We knew Buster might have a brain tumor and that his seizures would become more frequent. No matter how many times you witness a seizure though it is still a horrific experience. After the 2 he had on Monday night and his weakness and disorientation I could not continue to let him suffer. Just 2 years ago he and I hiked Mt Evans (from Summit Lake. he joyfully did that hike 10 times!) and now he could barely make it around the block. Between his arthritis, tracheal collapse, and seizures I know it was time. I’ve spent the last year trying to manage his pain and symptoms.
