I adopted Bentley in Nebraska 10 years ago before I moved to Colorado and we quickly became best friends. He was the best companion I could have had in a new city. B was truly the sweetest and most wonderful boy. He used to love running around the house, getting lots of attention and going on walks.
Sadly, we had to make the difficult decision to let him go due to kidney failure and advanced heart murmur. It was very unfortunate we couldn’t do anything to help him get better so he quickly went downhill.
Furthermore, we are very thankful for Caring Pathways and Dr. Mavi for helping us by making this hard moment into a more bearable one, as Bentley was on his bed in his house with his favorite human petting him.
We love you Bentley and will forever miss you, my sweet boy.
Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge.
