Briana Balogh, Hospice Technician

Briana is a Denver native but also spent time in Washington state, where she became a veterinary technician in 2004. A lover of all animals, she then decided to attend Moorpark College’s Exotic Animal Training and Management program. After graduating in 2006 with degrees in Animal Training, Animal Behavior Management, and Wildlife Education, she returned to Denver and spent some time at the Pueblo Zoo as a Zookeeper and then at the Denver Aquarium as a Bird and Mammal Trainer.

Missing veterinary medicine, she then worked at a large specialty hospital as an Internal Medicine and Emergency vet tech for 11 years, and then switched to the Behavior specialty, where she spent 8 years and served clients in the CO and NYC areas. She then joined Caring Pathways in 2025. In all my years working around Denver, I had always known about Caring Pathways and the wonderful services they provided to clients. I am so excited to bring my previous knowledge and skills to the team!

In my spare time, I love to teach Zumba classes, donate plasma, and volunteer for senior excursions with the City of Lakewood. It truly warms my heart to service others, whether I’m treating patients, leading dance fitness classes, or bringing joy to our treasured senior community.”
