  • Preferred Appointment Date & Time – While we will do our best to accommodate your request, having some flexibility can help in scheduling.

Planning Ahead: Why It Matters

We understand that emergencies can arise, and we will always do our best to accommodate urgent situations. However, because we operate on an appointment-based system, we encourage families to plan ahead whenever possible. Getting a record on file with us in advance can help streamline the scheduling process should you need our services in the future.

Taking the time to discuss your pet’s needs and scheduling an appointment in advance can provide peace of mind, allowing you to focus on cherishing the moments you have left with your beloved companion. If you are uncertain about timing, our Client Care Team can offer guidance and help you make the best decision for your pet’s comfort and dignity.

We are Animal Lovers like You

Our client care team is made up of animal lovers as well. Here, one of our compassionate team members, Heather, shares her story about having to say goodbye to her beloved cat Chloe:

“Our sweet Chloe was a beautiful calico kitten I adopted from a Facebook post.  I didn’t need any more pets at the time because I already had 3 dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, and peacocks, but I couldn’t resist. She was the cutest kitten I’d ever seen. The entire family quickly grew to love her because she was very loving and attention-seeking. She also loved playing with toys.  At 2 years old, after not coming in during the night, we found her under the porch paralyzed. There were no marks on her, no sign of what had happened, but she couldn’t use her back legs.  We took her to the vet and ran multiple tests, and did steroid and laser treatments. She learned to walk by mostly dragging her rear end and lived out the rest of her life happy and active. At four years old, she began to exhibit pain and started losing mobility.  We chose compassionate in-home euthanasia due to poor quality of life.  There was no doubt we wanted to do the procedure at home. Chloe was always nervous when traveling to the local vet’s office and we wanted to make the experience as stress free as possible. Being able to be in the comfort of your home, without cold metal tables means a lot! Having Dr. Alex come to our house to help her transition was the best decision–Dr Alex was so kind and compassionate. Chloe was home; she was comfortable and peacefully fell asleep in my arms.  I know without a doubt that in-home euthanasia will be the choice for our family from now on. I am truly proud to work for a company that offers this service in a time that is so difficult for families.”

A Caring Pathways Client, Melodie, Shares Her Positive Experience

“I cannot recommend Caring Pathways enough. Losing a pet is one of the most difficult and heart-wrenching experiences anyone can go through. Having a company that takes care of even the smallest details and helps guide you through a seamless process is a true blessing. Their compassion and professionalism made an incredibly hard time just a little bit easier. I truly wish more businesses like this offer such thoughtful and supportive care when it’s needed the most.

From the easy-to-submit online form to the prompt phone call, and the patient receptionist who listened as I cried, overwhelmed and unable to speak clearly—every step of the way was handled with such care. They walked me through the process, explained prices, and made sure I understood everything. The two follow-up emails and simple online forms made handling the details effortless. They even took care of notifying my vet about our loss. I appreciated the variety of cremation options and the helpful text notifications letting me know when the vet would arrive, with a 15-30 minute window. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our veterinarian for your compassion and calming presence today. I could not have written this review if we hadn’t felt at peace, and that peace was made possible because you took such good care of Willow in her final moments. Thank you!”
