Our gorgeous girl Nola was the light of our lives. From the moment we saw her, her spectacular green eyes fixed deeply into ours, a 15-year love story began.
Nola was a caretaker—intuitive to our feelings and always right there to give her support. Her head on a shoulder, her paw across a heart, her soothing purrs—nestling in to provide comfort and companionship whenever needed.
Cleaning Daddy’s head was a full-time job, and making sure Mom was tucked in for bed before curling up beside her was the nightly ritual. After-dinner playtime was always exciting with tinkling balls, ribbons, feathers, and her very favorite—the Chirping Bird. A good cardboard box was also never too far away.
Nola was a good sister to her brother, Finlay, who sadly passed last June. She was generous, letting Finn play with her best toys or allowing him to move in on a favored napping spot. She always left a few nibbles of food on her plate just for him as a special treat. They were an inseparable team.
Nola made our lives brighter. Her playfulness was a joy, her constant care a gift, and her pure heart a blessing. We miss our dear girl beyond words but know that she and her brother are together again, playing in the heavens.
