This is a wonderful service that every pet owner should use. We made and cancelled several appointments for a quality of life assessment for our 13 year old Ridgeback, with our girl going through several cycles of deteriorating and rallying over the course of several months without giving us any clear signs that it was time. The office staff was friendly, patient, and responsive every time we called or emailed. When the time did come for the quality of life assessment, Dr. Poyer was amazing and spent 2 hours at our home getting to know us and Tima, assessing Tima, thoughtfully advising us that euthanasia was the kind thing to do for her, and ultimately providing that service in a caring and compassionate way. It was the very best scenario possible for such a heartbreaking time in our lives. Tima’s final moments were as comfortable and peaceful as anyone could ever hope for. We hope to not need you again for a long time, but you will absolutely be our only choice for end-of-life care in the future. We will/have already recommended you to everyone we know with pets.
