Dr. Brian Stanley grew up in Austin, Texas, and got his undergraduate degree in Biology from Baylor University with the intent to go to medical school. He decided to switch to veterinary medicine and graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. He moved with his girlfriend, 2 dogs, and 2 cats to Denver after graduating and spent 3 years in general practice.
After never feeling like clinical medicine was a great fit for himself, Dr. Brian switched to compassionate end-of-life care with Caring Pathways. He enjoys coming into homes that are filled with love and getting to meet pets and their people in an environment where they are most comfortable. It’s an honor to be a part of the end-of-life process, and he loves hearing their stories, seeing the impact pets have on our lives, and strives to make the end-of-life transition as smooth and gentle as possible for everyone involved.
When Dr. Brian is not helping pets and their families, he tries to spend time outside by running, hiking, camping, skiing, or playing with his dogs. He enjoys going to breweries, reading, watching sports, listening to podcasts, and going to concerts.
