On January 24 we had to say goodbye to our beloved 14 year old lab, Freedom. We knew the day was coming, but how can you ever be fully prepared? We are grateful to Dr. Gina Singleton for the care and compassion she showed to Freedom, our other dog, and to us. She explained what we could expect during her visit and also provided us with resources for grief counseling. She gave us time and space to say our final goodbyes privately once Freedom passed. Dr. Singleton even called us the next day to see how we were doing. She showed true professionalism during her visit and made a very difficult and painful process as smooth as possible.
