Mimi was our 11 year old Golden Retriever whom was the center of our world. When we found out she had developed Liver Cancer we were saddened, angry and in disbelief. We were certain we were not going to put her through a big surgery and all that so we decided to just keep her comfortable. As the weeks went on, she started to decline and we already had Caring Pathways in our back pocket. When we made the call we knew our sweet Mimi was ready. They came on Sunday Jan 7th at 10:30am. Dr, Coveyou was our vet. The moment she walked in she kneeled down to Mimi and Mimi rested her head on Dr. Megan’s leg, basically telling her she was ready. Dr. Megan was so calm and caring and loving. We could not have asked for a more peaceful departure for our Mimi. Thank you so much for creating this service and allowing our furry babies die within their own homes surrounded by their hoomans…we are forever grateful.
