| Thor was one of a kind. He started out as a scared pound puppy and went on to live a very full life filled with hiking adventures, lots of good food and plenty of snuggles. He didn’t enjoy typical dog things. He liked to rip around the yard, but not play fetch, he loved rawhide bones but not milk bones, and he couldn’t sniff out a scent if it hit him in the face. He loved to start loudly eating his food and drinking his water as soon as we sat down at night to watch a movie, and he never quite learned how to properly walk on a leash. And then there was the time he tried to dig a hole in the sand dunes. But man did he love his people. I think he even loved the kids, even though he acted like he was just tolerating them.
