My sweet dog, Rogue, coming into my life was the very best thing that ever happened to me. I rescued her from a shelter when she was just a pup, but she spent her life saving me. She was always so loving, happy, and loyal. We went on so many long walks and adventures together. We hiked to the top of Horsetooth Rock, drove to see the 2017 solar eclipse in Nebraska, road-tripped to Iowa, and walked an endless number of trails and paths all over Colorado. We spent hours and hours playing fetch in the yard and at the park. She was super people-friendly and even friendly to cats. She took such great care of me when I was sad or hurt and was so patient with me when I broke my foot. For more than 15 years, she was the only consistent part of my life, and I feel so lost without her. I am so fortunate and grateful to have had her in my life for so long. I love and miss you so much, Rogue.
