I lost a huge part of my soul a couple of weeks ago. My Moosey boy lost his battle to a very aggressive cancer that took his life way too soon. It was so hard seeing him suffer, and I can only hope his little wings in heaven are making him as light as can be.
They say a house without a dog is like a garden without flowers, and I’ve really been feeling that these past few weeks. This has been one of the most crushing and heartbreaking losses that I have ever endured. Moose was my best friend, my hiking buddy, and always lifted me up when I was feeling down.
