Luffa Mufasa Miller

Oct 19, 2026

Luffa came to our family twelve years ago through a family friend. He loved us immediately and consistently attempted to leave home with us (he would hide in our car and pop out when we got home). Once we brought him home, he was so excited and never stopped talking and wanting attention. Luffa was such a great cat who was tolerant, snuggly, smart, and more. Throughout the years, he was an amazing support to our family.

He lived with me through my journey of living alone for the first time. He was a constant emotional support and made life so much more welcoming. Every time I came home, he would run out excitedly, meowing “Now” for a treat. He loved catnip fish, his window bed, and his palm cat tree.

He was unfortunately diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and end-stage kidney disease last August. He was a constant fighter who was only given a maximum of three months after his diagnosis. He lived an extra 14 months and had the best time of his life.

He loved car rides, walks, going to the pet store, and being my constant support. We will miss him so much, but we are glad he is in a better place, free of pain.

To our stubborn fighter, Luffa Mufasa Miller.
