After thirteen and a half beautiful years together, it is with a very heavy heart, Tasha and I said our final goodbyes to each other on November 2nd, 2020 she crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully, in her favorite pink bed in the sunshine on our back deck. Kristen was an amazing help and made such a hard situation a little bit easier and more comfortable. I very highly recommend using Caring Pathways for in home services, they were so caring and understanding!
I remember the very first day I got her, it was the Spring of 2007, my Mom came to the airport to pick me up from my internship and there she was in the front seat waiting for me, she was part of my college graduation present. After that, the rest was history and we were inseparable.
A year later we both hopped on a plane in Boston and moved to CO. She has been with me from the very beginning in CO and We have been through so much together out here, multiple moves, jobs, boyfriends, friends, fur baby friends that have come and gone, etc…
It feels so empty in this household without her and a piece of me is now missing and gone. She has touched so many hearts and loved unconditionally, it’s what she was best at. I miss her like crazy and it’s going to be so hard moving forward without her but I know she wouldn’t want me to be sad, she was always so, so happy and that’s how she would want me to be too.
I like to think I gave her the best last few days that I could, she got all her favorite foods, Arby’s curly fries, her little whipped cream cup from Dunkin and a Frosty Paws ice cream sundae along with anything else we were eating, she was a little chow hound. We snuggled and cuddled a lot, watched tv together and I gave her endless amounts of kisses, telling her it was all going to be ok.
I love you so much Tasha and thank you so much for teaching me all that you did and for being by my side through thick and thin. You were my little fur angel, my little sister and there will never be another one like you.
Until we meet again, I love you like no other.
