We had very little time to accept that Sonic was dying once his tumor was diagnosed. Our veterinarian recommended Caring Pathways to us. Dr. Kristen came to our house on 1/18, and came to our dog who was lying on the master bed where he slept nightly. Sonic could barely breathe, but he was surrounded by his family – mom, dad, sister, and brother. Dr. Kristen eased our fears by describing the process and why certain shots were given. She listened to us reminisce about our dog and tell her what his life had been about. She gave us ample time as each step took place. We felt she gave us the time and grieving we needed to do as she shepherded Sonic from this life. She wrote us a wonderful card a week later, letting us know that she knew Sonic was so loved and how he was special. I highly recommend Dr. Kristen.
