Our beloved 18-year-old cat had terminal lymphoma and turned the corner on the same day that we were stuck inside, buried under four feet of snow. We thought we were going to have to wait with him until we were able to dig ourselves out and find a vet to help us. My worst fear was having to watch my poor boy suffer. By some miracle, Dr. Mavi made it up the mountain in the middle of the snowstorm to help us say a dignified goodbye to our sweet boy. She was patient and kind, and gave us the time we needed to be with him. It was a gift to be able to say goodbye at home, in his favorite room, without a stressful last trip to the vet’s office. We are so grateful to Dr. Mavi for helping us through such a difficult time.
