Dr. Chris was incredible with us and our kitty yesterday. He brought us his own real world experience living with cats, after he asked about our kitty, her life and her illness. He seemed entirely comfortable in our bedroom and allowed the process to happen organically with kitty on my belly through the entire ordeal. He assured us that continuing with the kind of pain meds she would need, would deteriorate her quality of life and our relationship with her. He was tender with her and us, the entire time, in our apparent grief. He honestly felt like a trusted neighbor you could call on. Before each injection, he described what was happening, without any rushing at all. At the end, he waited outside to give us as long as we needed, alone with her. We put her into a sweet basket with a blanket, arranged carefully. Caring Pathways clearly understands that your pet deserves the best in care and dignity. I am considering using their services now, as I grieve, for their support services.
