Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our senior dogs, Penny (14, Golden Retriever) and Shelby (15, Husky-Shepherd Mix), this summer, less than 3 months apart. It was devastating. Dr. Gina took care of Penny in May, and Dr. Hannah took care of Shelby in August. Both were kind, compassionate, and gave us all the time and space we needed to grieve. They made it so our dogs could pass with dignity in the comfort of their own yard. We even noticed that Dr. Hannah drove away extra slowly as we watched her depart with our beloved friend.
