We adopted Pancake the bulldog later on in her life. She had been found roaming the streets and was up for adoption. We adopted her knowing our time with her would be limited, being an elderly dog. Pancake came into our home and captured our hearts immediately. Age and ailments that no amount of treatment could fix took their toll in just 2 1/2 short years, and we knew it was time.
Having used Caring Pathways prior, we knew immediately we would use their services again. From the first contact, every interaction with them was extremely compassionate and professional. A special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gina, who came to our home and helped Pancake cross over in such a calm, compassionate, and caring way. She took the time to talk about Pancake’s life and all the amazing times we had with her. It enabled us to smile even in such a difficult time.
Gina went on to explain every step as we went through it and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. I highly recommend Caring Pathways for end-of-life care and will use them again in the future when we have to say goodbye to our other sweet fur babies. Thank you so much.
