We were heartbroken to learn that our Goldendoodle had cancer. After discussing how to move forward with the veterinarian, it became clear that the most compassionate decision we could make for her was euthanasia. We also knew that we needed to contact Caring Pathways because of our previous experience with the company.
Dr. Jill Hickey arrived at our home as agreed. From the moment we met her, we felt only kindness from her toward Lacey, us, and our German Shepherd, Max. She explained the process while being very respectful of us in our grief. Time was not a concern, and we were allowed to spend Lacey’s last moments without any pressure.
