Phoebe

Our sweet Phoebe came to us 4 short years ago from a rough situation and home life. She was shy and unsure of the world, but when we met each other, we knew we would be taking her home with us after she tiptoed our way and asked for head and nose taps.

She quickly warmed up to us and our other dog, Sophie, and that’s when her true personality started to shine. She would always run to the door when she heard it open, sliding on our hardwood floor but so excited to get to us. She loved her green turtle toy and would bravely jump over furniture and us to get to him.

She traveled to Canada with us and quickly got accustomed to air travel like a pro. She also loved car rides and would stick her paws out so far that we would need to hold her back while she gleefully smelled the Colorado air.

She was so strong and brave during the last few months of her life, battling bladder cancer. Her big personality and sweet demeanor will always be with us. She taught us patience, unconditional love, and how to be fun and spunky even when not feeling our best. We love you so much, Phoebe Mae, and we will never forget you. You will forever be our little love.
