Yesterday we said goodbye to our sweet Pete. He lived 16 long years. He was a rascal with an amazing long jump. He loved getting in the middle of a dog pack at the dog park and hatching a plan for trouble with a smile on his face. He was a great traveling companion. He traveled from the ocean to the Lincoln Memorial to the top of Mount Evans. He was the gentlest dog I ever knew. He was the sweetest Pete.
