Missy

I had a special relationship with Missy. She lived in Texas and was my mom’s dog for many years. We adopted Missy and brought her with us to Colorado when my mom passed away. She was the last link to my mom. Dr. Lori gave me the time and space to grieve my mom again and work through my feelings of guilt for letting Missy go. We have 3 other rescue dogs, one also my mom’s. Dr. Lori gave our “dog family” time to say goodbye after Missy passed. Each has expressed grief and sadness differently. Unquestionably, saying goodbye before Missy was taken from the house allowed them to understand she was leaving for the last time. This was a special, loving experience for all of us. Thank you.
