We lost Harry this week at 14 1/2 years old. Harry was Int CH Ellyest Knight’s Fee UD RE VER SH WCX CCA VC Can WC. A lot of you will not know what all those letters mean. What they mean mostly is that Harry had earned 15 titles in the sport of dog showing and training. They mean countless hours training and traveling and working together to accomplish something. He competed in obedience, rally and field events, and also a little conformation.
But more than that, Harry was a genuinely nice dog. He never barked, was never, ever quarrelsome. He loved everybody and they loved him. Harry came from England, I knew the breeders. He was a handsome boy and so much fun competing. We miss him a lot, even with 3 other dogs, there is a big empty spot in this house.
