| Almost 14 years ago, I tried to foster 4 kittens and Foxy was one of them. I failed as a foster, and my darling Foxy spent her life with me and her 2 brothers (the fourth was adopted and after that I failed as a foster). Foxy was born blind, but she absolutely fooled me for years, which I think she was able to do because one of her brothers was her seeing eye cat. Foxy and Skeezix are in the attached photo (Foxy is all gray). How they loved each other! Having been born with 3 brothers and being blind, Foxy quickly became the feisty Foxy Lady that she was for her lifetime. You wouldn’t believe how well she traversed her cat towers and dealt with her brothers when they were naughty. Her beloved Skeezix died of cancer on 8/1/2021. Foxy survived 1 year, 1 month and 6 days without him but has thankfully joined him today along with her beloved older brother and puppy dog, Chili. Foxy almost made it to her 14th birthday, which would have been 9/15/2022. Our home feels utterly empty without you, Foxy. My heart is broken. Your amazing soul has astounded me for these almost 14 years. Thank you, thank you, thank you, my darling, dear Foxy Lady! I will join you as soon as I can. Love, Momma. |
