I said goodbye to my sweet boy Elway on January 30, 2021. Elway was with me from the time he was 13 ounces, and gave me almost 20 years of love, fun and devotion. He was my everything buddy and everybody loved him – even non-cat lovers. He was quirky- he loved to eat with his back legs held in the air, loved having water dumped on his head, once swallowed a needle, and had his own personal catnip bush which he visited 2-3 times a day. He was a sweet and gentle work, play and sleeping buddy – and had the loudest purr-snore. And he loved his girlfriend Mackie until we lost her last year. He made our home complete. There will never be another like Elway – he was one of a kind, and was so, so loved.
