Curly

Sep 12, 2022

Curly came to live with us after my sister died last spring. He’d been a great companion for her for almost 14 years. In his younger days, he enjoyed going camping and for walks (on a harness and leash). We bonded immediately and he became a superb lap buddy. We helped each other find comfort in our grief. We had a couple of good months with him but then he began losing weight and later, started hiding in his carrier. Apparently, lymphoma had taken hold. Dr. Emilea with Caring Pathways was so kind and gentle in sending him on to reunite with my sister. I’m so grateful for all the love he gave us and for Dr. Emilea’s compassion and reassurance that the time was right.
