Thank you for the best 10 years of my entire life. Thank you for sticking by my side through thick and thin. You were such a huge blessing is my families lives…but especially mine. You came to me and you brightened my world. You made me see and think about things in a totally different way and for that, I thank you. Thank you a million times. Thank you for sharing your kind, gentle, mellow, goofy personality with us.
You were the best dog on this entire planet. You never showed aggression, never tried to cause problems, never wanted to eat any children. You loved everyone around you. You spread love and warmth wherever your paws lead you.
I would clean up your pee in the dining room a thousand times over if it meant I got to see you one last time. Your health decreased so fast, I didn’t have a chance to truly come to terms with it. Your body was shutting down. You had a hard time breathing and hearing you gasp for air broke my heart more and more each and every single time.
You’ve earned your rest. No more pain. No more discomfort. Run free. Frolic. Chase all the bunnies and squirrels up there.
The paw print you left on my soul will forever be there. My heart will always belong to you.
