Blue was a miniature Australian Shepherd who shared his life with me for 17 1/2 wonderful years. I have had dogs all of my life (I am 88), and all have been really good dogs (miniature Aussies, standard Aussies, Shetland Sheepdogs, etc.). But Blue will always have a special place in my heart, as he was my soulmate during the years I was living alone. I will always miss his greeting when I returned home, his beautiful eyes staring at me if he wanted something, our walks together with him checking EVERYTHING out, and his unconditional love! I hope he finds his many friends in the special place that dogs go when they leave their home here.
