Dr. Jill grew up in Illinois and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age. Her love for veterinary medicine was inspired by her geriatric black lab, Minnie. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine, graduating in 2021. After relocating to Denver, she completed a one-year rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, followed by two years of general practice there. Dr. Jill then discovered her passion for hospice and end-of-life care. She especially enjoys hearing stories from owners about what made their loved one so special to them.
Dr. Jill has a mixed breed dog Obie, who loves beds and belly rubs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, skiing, and playing volleyball. She is always looking forward to her next tailgate and is an avid college football fan. Go Badgers!
