Rudy

Aug 21, 2024

We rescued Rudy on August 26, 2020, when he was about a year old. After having him for a few weeks, we quickly learned that he had been severely abused before he joined our family. His body was littered with BBs from being shot at, and he was suffering from kidney disease, as the abuse had caused his kidneys to not fully develop. Despite his past, Rudy was the sweetest, funniest, and most chill dog you’ve ever met. He never came across a dog or human he didn’t love. He gave the best snuggles and filled our lives with joy and laughter.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Rudy on August 4, 2024, because his kidneys were no longer functioning in a way that allowed him to live in comfort. He was my heart dog, and his absence is earth-shattering. Four years with him was not enough, but our family is forever grateful for his love and devotion.

See you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, Rudy Booty!
