As of the last few months, I could see my dog fading away a little at a time. My old mobile vet has retired and I knew I would prefer to send Scully away from the comfort of my home. I searched the internet and found Caring Pathways as a service that could help me with that. On the appointed day, a nice lady, named Dr. Emily, arrived at our home and we sat and talked for a bit before getting on to the task at hand. I was pretty upset, but Dr. Emily was sympathetic and compassionate, respectful and very professional. She allowed me to cry and carry on without being judgmental. We gave Scully the first shot and she was soon in la-la land. We petted and touched her for a while and then the last shot was administered and she just stopped. I went to pieces again and Dr. Emily comforted me and expressed her sympathy. A week or so has passed and I received a hand written sympathy card. She went out of her way and I consider her to be a consummate professional who made a stressful situation tolerable. Kudos to her and Caring Pathways. I am grateful to have found their services during this emotional time. I would recommend them highly.
