Dr. Megan came by a week ago and helped us help Llelo over the Rainbow Bridge. It was wrenching but so helpful for us (my sister, my daughter and I). Llelo was 17.5 years old and failing. He’d not eaten in a week. Dr. Megan took one look at him and validated that we were doing the right thing. Guilt is a tough thing. I want to thank her for her sensitivity and having explained everything that she was going to be doing, through out the process. She treated him so respectfully and allowed us time to be with him … even after he was gone. It was such a moving time for all of us. We miss him like crazy but we know he’s no longer suffering. Love you, Llelo Baggins.
