We adopted Sadie from the Boulder Humane Society when she was 2 years old. She lived to be 13 1/2. We had four month old twin girls and an eight year old son at the time. Sadie fit right in with our family from the first day. She was the sweetest most loving kind dog in the world. I feel so blessed she was ours. We have so many fun memories with her. She loved the kids so much! When the girls were babies she would lay with her mouth open and let one of the girls stick her foot in her mouth and she would lick her feet while Avery giggled. She was also a rock for our family and helped us with dealing with the grief of the loss of my husband and children’s father three years ago. Every person to ever meet Sadie automatically fell in love with her. It was tough watching her get older but I’m grateful for every minute she was with us. She was wonderful with our two cats and best friends with our other two dogs. We all miss her very much and she left a hole in our family. I would like to thank Kelly Knoll for being so compassionate and caring for Sadie and our family in Sadie’s final moments with us. Sadie was very comfortable at home and surrounded by her entire family when she passed and it means so much to us that she was comfortable. We love you so much Sadie!
