Moses Parts the Water “Sampson” Carter, 12, passed away peacefully at his Westminster home surrounded by his mom, Sue, his dad, Rod, and his auntie Laura.
Sampson pushed his way into this world in February 2008 and never stopped pushing his way into the hearts of all who met him. Sampson only barked for the doorbell and in protection of his humans. He was a kind giant that will be remembered for his gentleness.
Sampson had career aspirations to become a service dog but was ineligible following a seizure. He went on to complete Delta-9 Therapy instruction. He was employed by a Veteran’s home and served Carl while living in Minnesota. Hambone enjoyed bringing his love and nose boops to those he knew needed his affection.
Sampson was happiest making snow angels, rolling in the grass, and getting belly rubs in his mama’s wedge. Sampson was appreciative of all things culinary. He was especially content stalking his humans any time they were in the kitchen.
Sampson leaves behind many family and friends, pretty much everyone who knew the good boy.
He will be remembered by the puppy loves of his life: Lacey, Erin, Wanda (who was always too excited to see Sam), and Marley.
Sampson will be greeted into Heaven by his Grandma Barb.
Miles, Coltrane, Timmy, and Loki will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Sampson will be cremated and be interred at a later time.
