Also known as Dr. J, JoAnna Anzelmo-Rump received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Iowa State University in 1995 and practiced Emergency/Critical Care and Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in Colorado for 10 years. After the birth of her third child, she became a stay-at-home mom and transitioned into doing veterinary relief work.
Dr. J feels strongly about the power of the human animal bond and is very honored to be a part of the Caring Pathways Team. She knows how important it is to say goodbye with peace and beauty to the animal companions who give us unconditional love.
She is an avid cyclist and loves the great Colorado outdoors as well spending time attending various events to support her children’s activities. She is also a substitute teacher at Arapahoe High School. Married to a veterinarian, she and their three children share their lives with an exuberant rat terrier mix named Skeet and their cat Toefu.
